Rules and Regulations

Welcome to Cherokee County Jeepers. We are a local Jeep FAMILY who love riding, meeting, and discussing all things Jeeps. Below is a description of who and what this group is about. Every member is expected to review this post and respect what it states.

This group started with a few locals who wanted a local page to discuss, meet, ride, and share common interests with other Jeepers in the area.

With this group, we have a few simple rules-

• Always respect the community, citizens, law enforcement and other Jeep groups – clubs.

• Drive responsibly (obey the Laws)

• No harassing members or drama

• If we start seeing NO Participation for extended periods of time or your attitude changes towards the family, we reserve the right to take action (removal, etc.)

•Blocking Admins will have you removed from the group.

• Do not argue with members on the CCJ Page. Work your problem out offline or contact a CCJ Admin.

• Private events are just that Private. Do not mention a private event on other pages.

• There are a lot of members on this page so at times there may be many events going on the same day. We try to post all information on events to give all the local events equal opportunity.

• Any open public Jeep events can be shared on the CCJ page. Sometimes a separate CCJ event maybe made for that event.

• Please use the “page search function” before posting a request for services. Chances are pretty good someone has asked for that very same recommendation before. If you can’t find it, then post the request.

• Business bashing is also not allowed. A better way to handle this type of situation is to call the Better Business Bureau and make a formal complaint there. It is unfair to post negative commentary on this site when there is no chance for the owner/manager to respond.

• Please be respectful of each other’s views. Criticize ideas but not a person’s character. This includes attacks on a poster.

• Do not publish anything defamatory nor anyone’s intellectual property without their permission.

• We all love to “be in the know” but we sure don’t want to be in the know about something that is unfair or malicious or outright untrue. That is gossip.

• Before participating in passing along hearsay, ask “is it true” and if you can answer yes, then ask “is it fair”. If you answer yes to both, then by all means pass it along.

• Do not use profanity. All posts with profanity will be removed. Posters can get their messages across without using four letter words.

• No nudity or degrading content.

• Please refrain from discussing sexual, political, or religious topics.

• If you read a troll comment, please report it. Also anyone making racist comments will be banned from this page.

• All GoFundMe or other similar requests must have prior admin approval.

We understand Cherokee County Jeepers is not for everyone, and that’s okay. If you’ve read the above, and this sounds like a group you’ve been looking for, CLICK HERE to join us! We’d love to meet you!
